For promotion to the various ranks, cadets will be tested on the followings:-

Lance Corporal
(a)  Footdrill
  • Attention, Stand at Ease, Stand easy
  • Forming up in 3 ranks
  • Dressing & Sizing
  • Getting on parade, Dismissing & Falling out
  • Paces to the front/rear & left/right
  • Turning at the halt, left, right, etc
  • Marching & halting in quick time
  • Right and left close march


(b)  Campcraft on Knots
  • Thumb knot
  • Figure-of-8 knot
  • Reef knot
  • Fisherman’s knot
  • Bowline
  • sheet-bend
  • sheepshank
  • clove hitch
  • tent guy loop
  • whipping
  • timber hitch


(c)  Proficiency Badge
All of the following :-
  • Road Safety Badge
  • Campcraft Badge





Corporal
(a)  Footdrill
  • Open and close order
  • Saluting at the halt
  • Saluting to the front on the march
  • Saluting when without head dress eyes right, left and front
  • Wheeling
  • Changing step in quick time
  • About turn on the march, quick time
  • Marking time forward and halt at quick time
  • Marching at advance and retire position
  • Turning to the left and right on the march


(b)  Baton Drill
  • Attention,
  • Stand at ease,

  • Baton Salute

Sergeant

  • Present arms (Hormat senjata)
  • Ground arms (Baring senjata)
  • Take up arms (Angkat senjata)
  • High port arms (Julag senjata)
  • Trail arms (Bimbit senjata)
  • Saluting with rifle at the halt
  • Saluting with rifle on the march to the left and to the right
  • Shoulder (Rusok) from high port and present arms
  • Marching at the shoulder
  • Marching at high port

(d)  Advance Drill (Optional)

(f)  First Aid
Ability to attend to the following:

Staff Sergeant
(a)  Ability to command a squad in any of the foot/arms drill movements.

(b)  Ability to instruct in all foot/arms/baton drill movements.

(c)  Ability to conduct dry practices for revolver.

(d)  First Aid
  • Method of resuscitation
  • Splints and bandages
  • Means of conveyance of wounded

(e)  Knowledge of Administrative Duties

(f)  Proficiency Badges
All of the following:
  • Home Front Security Badge
  • Police Knowledge Badge 2
  • Crime Scene Investigation Badge

(g)  Ability to conduct muster parade.
